Lockwood’s Stance on Oregon Issues
-
Timber and Rural Economies
Decades of one-party Democrat rule—and weak Republican leadership—have devastated rural Oregon.
What was once resilient, prosperous, and resource-driven has been hollowed out by failed policies and a refusal to hold those in power accountable.Oregon’s natural wealth has been locked away, not to protect the environment, but to cripple our economy and suppress rural communities. Sustainable harvest and environmental stewardship go hand in hand—active management is how we prevent wildfires, protect land, and keep communities working.
Career politicians have let our forests burn, our jobs disappear, and our towns decline. Republicans who refused to fight back share the blame. Democrats like Janelle Bynum have advanced policies that enriched insiders while destroying Oregon’s economy.
That’s why I’m running for an OREGON REVIVAL—to restore jobs, resource independence, and accountability. Oregon can come back, but only with serious Republicans willing to tell the truth and fight to win.

Immigration and Law Enforcement
I support ICE.
Oregon politicians have failed on public safety—by attacking law enforcement instead of criminals.
Too many leaders demonize ICE over rare, isolated mistakes while ignoring the real victims: Americans harmed by violent criminal aliens. We never see rallies for the families shattered by cartel violence, human trafficking, fentanyl deaths, and repeat offenders who never should have been here in the first place. The media and political class distort the facts—downplaying criminal histories, redefining “violent,” and attacking the men and women tasked with enforcing the law. That is wrong.
No one’s life matters less because they wear a badge. Immigration enforcement officers deserve the same respect, protection, and support as every other law enforcement professional.
I will stand unapologetically with ICE and fight to increase federal enforcement in Oregon to dismantle cartel networks, stop traffickers, and remove dangerous criminals from our communities.
Public safety is not negotiable.
The rule of law matters.
And Americans deserve leaders who will enforce it. -
Cost of Living and Inflation
Oregonians are being priced out of their own communities.
Housing, food, and energy costs are out of control—and government policies are to blame.Years of excessive permitting delays, land-use restrictions, inflationary spending, and regulatory overreach have artificially constrained supply and driven prices higher. Families and young workers can’t keep up with costs that are being manufactured by out-of-touch politicians.
Worse, taxpayer resources are being diverted to house foreign nationals while American families struggle to afford rent and groceries. That is wrong. Government should put Americans—and Oregonians—first.
I will fight for expedited permitting, regulatory sunset reviews, and targeted tax relief tied to inflation, so paychecks rise faster than prices. I will also work to end taxpayer-funded giveaways that prioritize non-citizens over Americans, while strengthening enforcement, improving coordination with local law enforcement, and holding officials accountable when their policies put communities at risk.
Oregonians work hard. They deserve a fair shot at the American Dream—not an economy rigged against them.
I will push for expedited permitting mandates, regulatory sunset reviews and targeted tax relief tied to inflation metrics so paychecks rise faster than prices. We must also put an end to the gravy trains that fund foreign nationals, including criminal aliens, when we should be making sure Americans are able to attain the American Dream, not having it stolen from them, and pushed into an American nightmare that is then blamed on them with lies of “not being talented, or competitive enough,” or “not working hard enough” when all they do is slave away to just get by. I will support stricter enforcement and the use of technology to better facilitate law enforcement and prevent erroneous detainments, better training programs, and better cooperation with local and state authorities. I will also penalize state and local leaders who are responsible for criminal aliens. -
Housing Affordability
Oregon’s housing crisis is pricing families out of the American Dream.
The problem isn’t a lack of slogans or new programs—it’s a lack of supply.Decades of rigid zoning, endless lawsuits, and government red tape have strangled new construction. Subsidies without new housing only drive prices higher. The so-called “affordable housing” industry has grown rich while families fall behind—and it’s time to end that failure.
I will push for real solutions that increase housing supply: incentives for local up-zoning near transit, faster approvals for workforce housing, and rewards for communities that actually build more homes.
We must also crack down on special interests and corruption that artificially inflate costs, restrict options, and exploit the system. Bad actors should face serious penalties—not protection.
More homes. Less red tape. Real affordability.
-
Homelessness
Chronic homelessness is destroying public safety, sanitation, and human dignity across Oregon.
The so-called homelessness “industrial complex” has failed—pouring billions into endless emergencies with no accountability and no results.Real compassion means enforceable standards and real pathways back to stability, not permanent encampments. I will condition federal housing funds on measurable outcomes—treatment participation, job placement, and time-limited transitional housing—not open-ended dependency.
Public spaces must be lawful, safe, and humane. Cities that allow lawless encampments that damage our environment, threaten communities, and endanger lives should face consequences—not rewards.
Oregonians are tired of politicians who preach environmentalism while ignoring the trash, crime, and ecological damage caused by unchecked encampments. This hypocrisy has turned our streets, parks, and waterways into disaster zones.
We can restore order, protect dignity, and reclaim Oregon—but only with leadership willing to say enough is enough.

Education
Education is one of the defining battles of our time—and I will fight it head-on.
Parents, not bureaucrats or political activists, know what is best for their children. I will ensure that every American parent has the freedom and financial ability to choose the best education for their child through school choice, vouchers, and education savings incentives. No family should be trapped in a failing system simply because of their ZIP code.
Homeschooling parents deserve respect, not roadblocks. If a family chooses to homeschool, they should receive the full value of the education taxes they pay and be free to use those dollars to educate their children as they see fit. The idea that parents who homeschool don’t care about their children’s education is absurd. These parents are often the most invested, most engaged, and most committed to their children’s success. No child should be forced into an ideological experiment masquerading as education—where politics replace academics and values are attacked instead of taught. Our schools must focus on reading, writing, math, science, history, and preparing students for college, careers, or skilled trades, not indoctrination. Oregon families deserve excellence, accountability, and results.
This fight doesn’t stop at K-12.
American students are being pushed aside while foreign nationals take seats in our universities, law schools, medical residencies, and high-skill professions. Qualified Americans are losing opportunities because our system prioritizes cheap foreign labor over our own people. That is unacceptable.
I will fight relentlessly to end the H-1B visa program and similar schemes that undercut American workers and suppress wages. We are constantly told we don’t have enough talent here at home—that is simply not true. America produces some of the best minds in the world, and our sons and daughters deserve the first shot at American opportunities.
This is not about race. This is about fairness, sovereignty, and putting Americans first. There is nothing wrong with demanding that our education system and our job market serve the American people—not multinational corporations or global interests.
I will stand unapologetically for parents, students, workers, and the future of the American Dream.

Protecting Girls Sports
I stand firmly with Americans who want to protect women’s and girls’ sports.
This is not about hate—it’s about fairness, safety, and common sense.Children should not be pushed into irreversible medical or ideological pathways. Kids need support, stability, and time to grow—not pressure, labels, or life-altering decisions they are not mature enough to make. Parents—not politicians, schools, or medical industries—must remain in charge of their children’s upbringing and healthcare.
Gender nonconformity is not a medical condition. For generations, kids were allowed to be kids—tomboys, sensitive boys, or anything in between—without being told they were “born wrong.” Today, too many vulnerable children are being fast-tracked toward drastic interventions instead of receiving counseling, care, and protection.
I believe in treating every person with dignity and respect. But protecting children comes first. It is neither compassionate nor ethical to transition minors or to sideline parents in the most important decisions of their lives.
We must defend women’s sports, parental rights, and the well-being of our children—without apology.

Iran & The Middle East
America must lead with strength—and I have proven I will.
I was a fierce and early opponent of the disastrous Obama-Biden Iran nuclear deal. I didn’t just talk about it—I led a public awareness campaign that shifted public opinion and drew international press coverage, from Israel to New Zealand. Appeasement of hostile regimes is weakness, and weakness invites war.Iran must never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon. Preventing that outcome requires clarity, deterrence, and decisive leadership, not endless negotiations that enrich our enemies and endanger the world.
I believe in American leadership without endless wars. That means calculated, targeted security actions that protect U.S. interests—without sending our sons and daughters into fruitless conflicts.
Israel is a U.S. ally and has the right to exist and defend itself. But America First means American interests come first—always. No foreign nation or special interest should dictate U.S. foreign policy.
Hamas is a state-sponsored terrorist organization responsible for brutal crimes against civilians. Terrorist networks must be contained, dismantled, and denied the ability to threaten innocent lives.
Peace comes through strength, truth, and leadership—not weakness or surrender.
-
Veteran's Care
Veterans are being failed by delays, red tape, and a broken VA system.
Service to our country should guarantee fast, seamless, world‑class care—not bureaucratic handoffs and endless waiting.I will expand community care, integrate medical records across providers, and strictly enforce wait‑time standards. If the VA can’t deliver, veterans should have the freedom to take their benefits to any doctor, anywhere—through a real care voucher program that puts veterans first.
No veteran should ever be treated like a burden or a profit center. They earned the best care available, period.
I will also fight to end the reflexive over‑medication of veterans. Too many are slapped with labels and prescriptions instead of receiving real, effective therapy that helps them heal, recover, and move forward. Veterans deserve dignity, results, and respect—not excuses.
-
Vaccines & Big Pharma
I stand 100% with parents and families on informed consent and medical freedom.
Parents—not politicians or pharmaceutical interests—must have the final say in their children’s healthcare. When Oregon politicians pushed House Bill 3063 to mandate vaccines as a condition for participating in public life, I didn’t stay silent—I helped lead the fight to stop it. Long before COVID, I worked to defeat HB 3063 and similar bills by training thousands of parents to lobby effectively, speaking at national conferences, and partnering with leaders in the medical freedom movement. I also founded a national nonprofit, Conscience Coalition, to help organize and push back against coercive mandates.
My opponents, Patti Adair and Janelle Bynum, supported HB 3063 and fought to force medical mandates on Oregonians. That approach dismisses legitimate concerns, ignores real harms, and strips families of their rights.
I will always defend informed consent, parental authority, and freedom of choice in healthcare—without apology.

Abortion
Abortion is not healthcare—it is a moral tragedy.
America has moved far from the promise of “rare, safe, and legal” toward an extreme abortion‑on‑demand agenda that treats the taking of unborn life as routine and celebrated.I have fought this radicalism head‑on. As Senate Republican Spokesman, I helped spark national media outrage over Oregon’s “Abortion Free for All” law—legislation that made taxpayer‑funded abortions legal for anyone, from anywhere, at any point in pregnancy. That law is wrong, unconstitutional, and deeply immoral.
Oregon Democrats pushed this extreme policy without limits, without conscience, and without regard for taxpayers or the unborn. When I challenged the inclusion of non‑citizens in the bill, the response exposed just how far the radical left has gone.
I believe in protecting innocent life, supporting mothers, and rejecting an abortion industry that profits from tragedy. Oregon deserves leadership with the courage to say that every human life has value—and to fight for it.
